Items contained within the tent are items used during World War I, World War II, and the Korean and Vietnam Wars. Several of the medical tools are World War II era, but the stainless steel operating table is Vietnam era. It folds up and fits inside the large black carrying case.  At the back of the tent are two World War I era stretchers, one dated 1917.

The circular insulated container on the floor is a World War II Mermite cooler, which was used to haul blood from blood banks. The Mermite container could be used for keeping foods hot or cold.

The stove in the center of the tent is a portable World War II cook stove made by Chrysler. During wartime, many factories and companies like Chrysler shifted their primary business and production to supply, service and support for the war effort.
